Rhonda Dee Parker

Rhonda Dee Parker, 55, of Kingsport, TN, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Rhonda previously worked in the medical supply chain at Ballad Health. She loved her job and her coworkers. She was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in May of 2022. She would go to chemotherapy during the day and go to work at night. That shows how brave, hard-working, and independent she was. When she wasn't getting treatments or working, she was at home spending time with her grandbabies, whom she treasured. She loved to do yard work and was always proud of her tomato and pepper plants and her hummingbird vines. She also enjoyed watching animal shows on tv, doing diamond art, and sewing. She was truly a beautiful soul with a laugh and smile that would get everyone's attention and light up a room.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her dad, JD McCoy; brother, JD McCoy Jr.; grandparents, Betty Leone and Jesse Frank Pollard; uncles, Daniel Pollard and Darwin Pollard; and cousin, Tyler Pollard.

She is survived by her partner of 16 years, Ronnie Brewer; daughter, Shasta Pollard; son-in-law, Jared Williams; grandsons Jesse Thomas Williams and Jaxon Ray Dean Williams; mother, Deloris McCoy; sisters, Amanda Knight (Daniel) and Gina Tolliver (Joey); nieces, Faith Tolliver and Natalie Tolliver; nephews, Danner White and Dalton McCoy; step-children Rebecca Brewer, Nickie Justice, Eugene Brewer, and William (Bo) Brewer; ex-husband and longtime friend, John Jones (Cheryl); as well as many other step-grandchildren and her fur babies, Mr. Weenie, Lucy, and Honey.

She did not wish to have any services so the family will have a private celebration of life to honor her.
