Regena Carol Parker Johnston, 57 of Kingsport, Tennessee passed from this temporary life to her permanent life in heaven on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Regena was born on November 24, 1959 in Kingsport, Tennessee, a daughter of Ralph O. Parker Jr and Irmalee Bernice Parker.
Regena raised two sons and was always the biggest fan to any activities they were involved in as they grew up; school or play, wherever it may; she was always there.
Regena was a domestic homemaker, where she made her home warm and pleasant to all who entered. She was a very joyful person, loved everyone and would brighten up a room when she walked in.
She had a gift of helping others; always putting herself second to their needs.
Regena loved reading her bible and was a motivated encourager telling everyone what the Lord has done for her.
Regena is survived by two sons, David Thomas and Logan Nathaniel Johnston of Kingsport, Tennessee; one sister, Revonda Quigley and husband Gil of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; three brothers, Ralph O. Parker III of Kingsport, Tennessee; Ronnie Parker and wife Lila of Johnson City, Tennessee; Russell Parker and wife Teresa of Kingsport, Tennessee; one grandson, Davontay Christphor of Kingsport, Tennessee and many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
Regena was proceeded in death by her parents; Ralph Jr and Irma Parker, one brother; Ricky Wayne Parker, one sister; Roena Louise Vondenberger
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled on Monday, July 17th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home, 1221 Stewball Circle. Kingsport, TN 37660
