Rebecca Dykes Allen reunited with her beloved sister, Cheyenne Ketron, and nephew Levi Alvis, on February 18, 2023.
Rebecca was a graduate of Sullivan North High School, class of 1993. She was an avid Mickey Mouse fan and loved unicorns. Her personality filled a room and her distinct laugh announced her entrance. Rebecca and her husband, Ardell Allen were married for 25 years and shared a home in Kingsport, Tennessee. Rebecca was a mother through and through, loving and sharing life with her children and the children of others.
Rebecca is survived by her parents, Ronald and Barbara Dykes; sisters, Anitra Williams and Carmen Dykes; brother, Mathew Dykes; her children, Marcus Dykes and spouse Celissa, Astrin Allen, Taleshia Allen and spouse Zachary, Au'mya Allen; grandchildren, Nova Spencer, Chelsea McDavid, Ashley McDavid, Brittany Basta; and great-grandchildren, Zach, D.J., and Addy; and countless lifelong friends that are too numerous to list.
She was thrilled to become a grandmother and excited to spoil her family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25th, at Double Springs Baptist Church (2783 Rock Springs Road) at 1:00 pm with Pastor Luke Waller officiating.
Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
