Randy W. Laugherty

Randy C. Wayne Laugherty, age 61, went to be with the Lord on Nov.1,2024, at his home in Kingsport, TN after a brief illness called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching Florida Gator football, NASCAR, and fishing.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Laugherty; and two brothers, Rex and Chuckey Laugherty.

He is survived by Kim Laugherty, his loving wife of 39 years; his daughters, Christy and Wendy Laugherty; daughter, Casey (Derek) Jones; and son, Eric Laugherty, all of Kingsport, TN. His grandsons, Nathaniel Salyer, Kayden Jones, and Hunter Clark; granddaughter, Madison (Kindrick) Hall; and an incredibly special great-granddaughter, Romee Hall, also all of Kingsport. His two brothers, Ray Laugherty of Knoxville, TN, and Charlie (Becky) Laugherty of Hawkins County, TN, one sister, Sheila (Carl) Weaver of Knoxville, TN. As well as, a niece, several nephews, and several brothers-in-law. Randy also left behind Chippet, his mini-Irish Setter.

A Celebration Gathering to honor Randy's life will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 6pm-8pm, at Trinity Memorial Centers (423-723-8177), located at 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660.
