Randall Gary Moorefield Jr

Randall Gary Moorefield Jr, age 44 , of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday January 31st, 2022. Randall was born in 1977 in Kingsport, Tn. He attended North High School. After school he became a mechanic and worked several places including Boehm Landscaping for the past 8 years. He was a faithful member of Seek Out the Old Path Church of Kingsport where he was family. Randall always had a smile and everyone he met loved him dearly. He had a very kind and caring soul who would help anyone who asked anytime. Randall had a way of making folks smile and laugh, he especially loved his grand daughter, Lauren, and loved to spoil her. He also saw his daughters siblings as his own. He was recently called to minister and had a servants heart. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Rex and Debbie Moorefield; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Smith; mother, Debbie Moorefield. Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Emily Moorefield; grandchild, Lauren Rimer; father, Gary Moorefield; brothers, D.J. McClellan and wife Samantha, Thomas Galloway, Jesse Hensley and wife April, Bo Housewright and wife Shonda; sisters, Michelle Jarrett, Heather Peters and husband Jared, Jessica Peters and wife Tonya; paternal grandfather, Herbert Smith; uncles, Jerry Smith, Gary Smith and wife Patty, Dale Moorefield and wife Heather, Scotty Moorefield and wife Debbie; aunts, Una and spouse Randy, Tina Quillen, Kathy Barnette and husband Paul, Cindy Housewright and husband Dale; nieces, Carmen McClellan, Ashley Waller and fiance James; nephews, Jordan and Aiden McClellan, and Jayden Huffman, Abel Housewright; great nephew, Lucien Strickler; and plenty of cousins; special church friend Jeffrey East. Visitation will be held at Trinity Memorial on Sunday February 6th from 1:00 to 2:00pm. Service will follow with Pastor Jessie Swanner, Pastor Johnny Hilton, and Pastor Mack Presnell officiating. Graveside service will follow at Zion Cemetery in Baileyton. Pallbearers will be family. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
