Ralph Eugene Moore, 75, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 11th, 2019. Ralph was born in Church Hill, TN in 1944. He was a graduate of Church Hill High School, class of 1963. He was drafted into the Army where he served two years in Germany. Ralph's nickname was "Hawk Eye" because he shot straight and he was one of the top sharp shooters. After being discharged, he met his soon to be soul mate, Judy, at Pal's Downtown. They were both cruising downtown like most young adults did in that time. They were wed and had one wonderful daughter, Christina. Ralph was a huge Vols fan, loved fishing, golf, gardening, and to cook. He and his daughter both played softball, something he enjoyed. He retired from 30 years at Eastman in 1997. He had many friends over the years and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Blaine and Beulah Moore. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 1/2 years, Judy Moore; daughter, Christina and husband Allen Hege; grandchildren, Ashley Poore, Tristin and Faith Ketterman, and Skylar Hege; step-grandchildren, Christian and Brittany Hege; brothers, Leonard, Jerry and wife Debbie, Benny, and Gary and wife Kathy; and several nephews and nieces. There will be no formal services. Instead, watch a rerun of your favorite Lady Vols' game in his honor. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the family.
