Phyllis Ann Arnold, 83, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.

Born and raised in Kingsport, Phyllis was a proud graduate of Ketron High School. A hardworking woman, she dedicated many years to her job at Valley Dale and later at Home Shopping. Phyllis had a zest for life, enjoying outings with her friends, and she had a deep love for her church and church family at Orebank Missionary Baptist. She always took pride in getting dressed up whenever she went out, reflecting her vibrant personality and sense of humor. Above all, Phyllis was a caring soul, devoted to her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she delighted in spoiling her loved ones.

Phyllis also adored her beloved dog, Trixie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Arnold; her parents, Hugh and Mary Ellen Scott; her brother, Jerry Scott; and the father of her children, Willie J. Morrison.

Phyllis leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Kim Stallard (Stacey Marsh) and Lance Morrison; her grandchildren, Grason Stallard (Ashley), Keegan Stallard, Eric Morrison, Kiersten Harris (Cody), and Levi Morrison (Abby); twelve great-grandchildren; her brother, Charles "Udd" Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Orebank Missionary Baptist on Monday, September 9th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow with Pastor David Smith officiating.
