Peggy Sue Necessary

Peggy Sue Necessary, 57, of Church Hill, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, after a brief illness.

Peggy was born in Rock Falls, Illinois, but spent the majority of her life in East Tennessee. She attended Sullivan North High School and later attended Northeast State Community College and King College where she ultimately earned a Master's in Business Management. Peggy loved her children and dedicated her life to her family and animals. She loved to cook and bake, and she was known for her chicken and dumplins. Peggy will be remembered fondly at every family meal and cherished by all that knew her.

She is preceded by her parents, James and Judy Davis; her sister, Teresa Necessary; her paternal grand-parents, Samuel and Elsie Davis; maternal grand-parents, Dan and Gladys Bishop.

Peggy is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, Dewey Necessary; her sons, Jeffery Collins and David Collins; her step-daughter, Jessica Stapleton; her beloved grand-daughter of the home, Emily Reign Shelley; her sister, Jenny Davis; her brother, Gary Davis; her grandchildren, Carly, DJ, Cassie, Tamara, and Hailey; her special niece, Kellye Necessary; and several nieces, nephews, and family friends.

Visitation for Peggy will be held on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at 5:00 pm- 6:30pm. A memorial service will follow, with Scott Knight and Gary Davis officiating. Terry Christian will provide music accompaniment. Graveside services are to be determined at a later date.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for the care they provided Peggy, and her special friends Teresa Phelps and Tracy Franklin who have been invaluable to the family.
