Peggy Ann Noe, 91, of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Wise, VA to the late Leeander and Julie Ann Noe. Peggy was a kind soul with a big heart for her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her favorite past times was to watch her grandchildren play softball. She enjoyed the outdoors, from camping to fishing. Peggy loved to joke around and pick at the ones she cared about. Her heart was overjoyed when the family would gather for holidays or just to eat together. She leaves behind a big hole in our hearts but she is now at peace with her Savior.
Peggy was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Lee Waddell and Polly Ann Fox.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Jackson Harris (Arizona) and Lee Ander Harris (Big Stone Gap,VA); daughters, Patsy Harris (Gate City,VA), Nancy Carrol Harris (Bristol,VA), Linda Darlene Taylor (Johnson City, TN) and Teresa Charlene and husband, Steve Hamrick (Bristol, TN); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; special grandchildren, Phillip and wife, Jenna Williams and Stephen Earl Hamrick; and friends, Charlene Woodward and family, Linda and Nathan Jones and Windy Henry and family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 at East Stone Gap United Methodist Church (3926 East Stone Gap Road, Big Stone Gap, VA) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brad Stapleton officiating. Graveside service will be at Powell Valley Memorial Garden. Pallbearers will be Phillip Williams Jr, Stephen Hamrick, Chuckie Ball, Justin Ball, Phillip Ball and Christopher Riggs.
