Paula Denise Weldon, 56, of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22nd, 2019 with her family by her side.
Paula was born in Kingsport in 1963 where she lived most of her life. She was a graduate of Central High School Class 1981. After school she worked at Holston Valley Hospital for about 10 years. She settled down, married, and became a home maker. She took great care of her family, loved her kids more than anything, and always showed kindness to anyone around. There was never a moment where her kids or grandchildren were not on her mind.
Paula was active in her church since she was about 8 years old. She was faithful to her church family and to her Savior. She attended The Free Gift Gospel Mission in Kingsport TN for about 7 years and found her home church. She sang, always volunteered, and helped anyway she could. She was always full of love and made sure to tell everyone she loved them. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by many.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 17 years, Bobby Weldon; sons, Michael Parker and wife Sherri, Matthew Parker and wife Robin, Jacob Weldon and Sarah Messer; daughter, Chrissy Barbusca and husband Tony; nine grandchildren; sister, Kimberly Gillenwater; brother, David Cox; and many other family members and close friends.
A memorial service Celebrating her Life will be held at the Free Gift Gospel Mission (1025 Maple Street, Kingsport, TN) on Monday, July 29th at 6pm with Pastor Vern Hall officiating.
