Patsy Jean Cody

Patsy Jean Cody, 77, of Kingsport passed away peacefully in her home with her family and friends on Friday, April 6th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ella Carter; brothers, Roy and Mac; sister, JoAnn; son, Kenneth (Moe) Ray Mullins. She is survived by her son, Michael Lee Cody; daughters, Christine Brown, Sandy Mallory, Carolyn Cody; a host of grandkids and great grandkids. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 9th at Trinity Memorial Centers (John B. Dennis location) from 6pm to 8pm. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 10th at Sunrise Baptist Church (2991 Long Hollow Road, Kingsport, TN) at 11am with Pastor Kelly Dykes officiating. Graveside service will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack Gilliam, Harry & Jeremy Whiston, Jeffery Hicks, Jason Curtis, and Freddie Carter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sunrise Baptist Church. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Cody family.
