Patrick Dale Lifford

Patrick "Pat" Lifford, 48, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Holston Valley Hospital. Pat grew up in Kingsport, TN and graduated from Dobyns-Bennett where he played on the football team. To say Pat was a sports fan is an understatement. He loved all sports. Pat enjoyed riding his Harley as much as he could. To everyone who knew him, he was described as kind hearted, funny, a hard worker, and a good family man. He loved his wife, kids, and his grandbaby. He was taken suddenly and will be greatly missed by many. Pat was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Francis Lifford and Lamanda Mullins; and grandfather, Dale Mullins. He is survived by his grandfather, Joe Pat Jennings; mother, Barbara Jennings; father, Ben and wife, Joyce Lifford; his wife, Tara Lifford; daughters, Jessica Moore and Diamond Bowery; son, Norman Scott; granddaughter, Alijah Thompson; brothers, Mike Lifford and Chad Jennings; sisters, Lamanda Tays, Julie Kerns and Miranda Lukens; and several uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 2:30-3:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A Life Celebration will follow at 3 PM with Pastor Chad Roberts officiating. Those attending are encouraged to wear UT attire. A graveside service will follow at Depew's Chapel Cemetery.
