Pamela Jean Miller

Pamela Miller, 68, passed away peacefully at home, Feb 7, 2022. Born in Smyth County, VA. to the late Robert and Irene Rouse, Pam spent the last 25 years of her life in Elizabethton TN. Pam loved to travel, her favorite place was always the beach and she loved nothing more than being with her family. She always had a song to sing, she sang with her brother Bobby and daughter Amy in the gospel group The Evangelaires for 30 years. Traveling many places and seeing many saved. Pam was selfless and giving, she never met a stranger. She was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irene Rouse; her husband, Jerry Miller; her brother Dennis Rouse, and sister Carolyn Eller. Left to cherish her wonderful memory are her children, Amy (Andy), Daniel (Evelyn) and David (Kendrea); grandchildren, Taylor (Josh), Kim (Miranda), Alex (Taylor), Ally (Dalton), Treston and Alivia; great grandchildren, Tyler, Rhea and Rowan; brothers, Bobby Rouse (Joann) and Larry Rouse (Porkey); Sister, Barbara Rouse; sister-in-Law, Anne Rouse; many, many friends and her Sammy and Giz. A memorial will be held at her home church, South Side Freewill Baptist on Saturday, Feb. 12th with visitation from 2-3pm and a service following at 3pm. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jeremy Burleson. Songs will be provided by her close friends, The Lighthouse Singers.
