Nora Mae Jones

Nora Mae Jones, a beloved sister and aunt, 87, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Nora was born July 8th, 1936 in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was a life long resident of Kingsport. Nora was a life long member of Central Presbyterian Church, also in Kingsport. She retired from Quebecor after 40 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maxie Richards Jones; her father and stepmother, Amos and Lula Jones; her brother, Jerald Jones; and her sister, Scarlett Kidd.

Nora is survived by her brother, Larry Jones and wife, Brenda; her two nephews, Jeff and Jeremy Jones; and her niece, Jennifer Gilliam and husband Jeff.

Nora requested to be cremated and have no formal services, her ashes will be spread in a private family service.

The family wishes to thank the care givers of Signature Lifestyles and Signature Healthcare in Rogersville, Tennessee, also Amedysis Hospice. A special thanks to her friends, Gail Evans and Janice Hurd.
