Kingsport – In loving memory of Nicky Salerno.

On May 3rd, 2018, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Nicky was born on December 31st, 1997 at Holston Valley Hospital. He started school at Jefferson with Todd Wagner as his teacher in kindergarten. His favorite teacher was Ms. Teri Walton. He graduated from North High School in 2016.

Nicky is remembered by his heartbroken parents, Michael and Nicky Salerno. Left behind to carry on his amazing legacy and memory are his sisters, Mercedes, Thea and Autumn; brothers and best friends, Douggie, Zachariah, Porkchop, Josh and Michael Salerno. Also surviving Nicky is his Uncle Joe, Aunt Sove, Moum, Chamron, Abee, Aboy, Kiara, Adrian, Mila, Maus Family, Opa, Oma, Andy, Bobby, Jimmy, Timmy, Darian, Nicky, Vanessa, Joie and Jessie. Also his heartbroken girlfriend, Hallie Duckworth.

Nicky grew up in a loud, loving family. He loved to fish with his brothers and annoy his sisters. Nicky would pretend he was a Ford automotive mechanic. He loved Ford mustangs only. Nicky looked forward to time with his nephews, Eli, Waylon, Memphis, Wyatt, Trip, and Lucas. Nicky loved and adored his niece Elly. Nicky was a sweet boy with a heart of gold and mischievous smile.

The family of Nicky Salerno will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 PM. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN). The service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor Jody Jenkins officiating. Nicky will be peacefully laid to rest at Depew’s Chapel Cemetery. As in the life of the Salerno brothers, they had each others back and they will carry Nicky to his resting place. Daniel Willis and all of the other brothers from another mother will be with them.

With the love and care that the family has received, everyone is welcome to come to Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home between 12 until burial . All the family asks is to please pay it forward.
