Nealy Belle Hagy

June 18, 1930 - January 08, 2019

Nealy Belle Hagy, 88, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was a native and life long resident of Kingsport. She was a homemaker and a founding member of Evangel Family Worship Center. She loved her family especially her grandchildren very much. Nealy loved to eat her hushpuppies, watching westerns, shopping, and getting her hair done. Most of all she loved her Lord, her church, and church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hagy in 1992; children, J.D. Hagy, Trisha Sells, and Rebecca House; special sister, aunt Mary Feagins; parents; sisters, Charity Davis, and Elizabeth Webb; step-sisters, Evelyn Fields, Naomi Dougherty, Anna Lee Fields; brothers, Hiram Roberts, George Roberts, Bob Roberts.

She is survived by her son, James O. Hagy and wife Penny (Kingsport), Jeff Hagy (Kingsport); daughter, Gail Newland and husband Mike (Church Hill); thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Jessie Dezarn and husband Bobby (Kingsport); several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday January 11th at Evangel Family Worship Center (1928 Bloomingdale Road, Kingsport) from 5pm to 7pm. Celebration of Life to follow at 7pm with Pastor James O. Hagy and assistant Pastor David Townsend officiating. Special music by Aaron Hagy and Sabrina Smith. Graveside service will be conducted at 11am Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone for their prayers and concerns during this time. They would like to send a special thank you to Trinity Memorial Centers for their love and care. The family especially wants to thank Jeff Hagy for his faithfulness and devotion for the care he gave to his precious mother.
