Nancy Rice

Nancy Marie Rice, 62, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She had a huge heart and loved everything. She was very strong willed and independent but would give the shirt off her back to some one that needed it. She loved her family deeply. She is preceded by her husband, Dale Buster Rice of 36 years; brother, Randy Hicks; sister, Betty Hicks; and her father, Dewey Edward Hicks. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Matthew Rice and his fiance Sheena Kayton; daughter, Lisa Shaffer; mother, Joyce Hicks; brother, Billy Hicks; sisters Angie Hicks and Barbara Miller; granddaughters, Ashley Shaffer, Kimberly Bellamy and Danielle Rice; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several close friends Service times will be announced at a later time.
