Nancy Ann Jenkins

Nancy Ann Jenkins, 71, of Bristol, VA, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024.

Nancy was a life long resident of Bristol, Virginia. She was a wife and homemaker for most of her life, and a stay at home mother to her two daughters. She was a member of McIver Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Nancy loved to write, especially poems, and her work was included in an anthology published in the 1980s. She fostered a love of reading and writing in her children. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her friends and family, especially going out to dinner and shopping or playing card games.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Marie Booker, and her husband of nearly 42 years, Buddy Thomas Jenkins.

She is survived by her daughter, Misty Dawn Decatur and husband Raymond, and their son Jacob; daughter, Michelle Leigh Wilson and husband Jeremy, and grandson Patrick Buddy; brother, Glenn Booker and wife Joann; special friends and sisters-in-law, Angela Rogers (husband, Frank) and Rose Booher; brothers-in-law, Eric Jenkins (wife, Jane), and James Jenkins; as well as several nephews and nieces.

A private service will be planned at a later date.

Nancy was a cat lover; in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
