Myniesha Yolanda (Coward) Smith, wife of the late Timothy Smith, went home to be with the Lord on November 9th, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Born to Helen (Coward) Howard and Calvin Jones on July 22nd, 1980. She attended Brockton Public Schools before moving to Tennessee where she graduated McMinn County High School. She attended North East Community College and received her degree in communications. She was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church. She also was a parent representative New Vision Youth. Myniesha loved cooking for her family and friends. Myniesha truly loved her children and they grew up together. She loved her children and parents. She was crazy about her two great nieces. Myniesha is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Smith; brother, Thomas Henry; grandparents, Clifton and Lilly Mae Jones, Clyde Henry and Ruth Marcelle Coward. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Tahjilyn, Tamara, Tashaun Coward; parents, Calvin Jones and Helen Howard; brothers, James, Tyrone, Carlton, Charles, Calvin, and Vincent; sisters, Belinda, Carla, Tina, Lia, and Rochelle; a host of nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; she was also a mother figure to Keyona Benson; dear friend, Harry Dukes; godparents, David Coward, and Lorriane McClendon; and a host of loving friends. Receiving of friends and family will be held at Central Baptist Church (301 Carver Street) on Saturday November 17th from 1:30pm to 2pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Peterson and Pastor Stucky officiating. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
