Ms. Katelyn Susan Hill

Katelyn Susan Hill, 13, received her angel wings on Thursday (July 16, 2015). Katelyn will be remembered for her loving heart. Everyone that knew "Katy-Bug" will always have a special place in their heart for her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, C.W. Wallace; maternal grandmother, Mildred Pryor; her "Meme", Carolyn Wallace; and paternal grandfather, L.E. Hill. She is survived by her loving mother, Leah Wallace; father, Billy Dean Hill; two sisters, Nikki & husband Wil Jennings and Mary Rebecca Campbell; brother, Scott Hill; paternal grandmother, Virgia Hill; maternal grandfather, Eddie “Pap” Pryor; special aunt, Patti Conkin; two nephews, Carter Derting & Parker Jennings; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (July 21, 2015) at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (1221 Stewball Circle) from 4 to 6 pm. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Shane Hubbard officiating. Special music by the Hill Family. The committal service will be held Wednesday (July 22, 2015) at Johnson Cemetery (Hickory Hill Rd. Blackwater, VA.) at 1 pm. Pallbearers will be J.W. Wallace, Rob Murray, Josh Wallace, Scott Hill, L.B. Hill, and Ronald Hill; Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Lambert, Gerald Arrington, Blake Absher, Butch Conkin, Charles Pryor, Eddie “Pap” Pryor, Tommy Johnson, Richard Pierce, Randy Hill, and fellow lineman employees.
