Mrs. Cindy Gail Davidson Hatton

Cindy Gail Davidson Hatton, 51, departed the earthly world on Monday (March 9, 2015) at Indian Path Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Kingsport, Cindy worked in the medical and humanitarian fields for over 20 years. Cindy, a beloved and devoted mother, daughter, and sister will forever be remembered for her kind spirit, loving heart, contagious laughter, quick wit, and sense of humor but most of all, for being a loving, devoted mother to her daughter, Kasi. Mrs. Hatton is preceded in death by her father, Herschell Vance Davidson, Jr.; and husband, Michael Hatton. She is survived by her daughter, Kasi Hatton of Kingsport; mother, Ann Davidson of Kingsport; sisters, Karen Fandl and Donna Davidson of Kingsport; uncle, Dean Davidson; special cousin, Pamela Gramberg; best friend, Rhonda Robertson, a fur baby Oscar (Bobo); furry grandchildren, Oliver and Meyer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday (March 12, 2015) at Trinity Memorial Centers Chapel from noon to 1pm. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Leonard Fay officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Walnut Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (13906 East Carters Valley Road Gate City, VA) at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family simply requests that everyone plant a tree in Cindy's honor so that a memory of her will forever be on this earth and her beautiful smile can be remembered by everyone.
