Shannon Lee Phillips, 22, passed away at his residence unexpectedly on Thursday (October 08, 2015). Shannon enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind and caring heart and his sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Kent McCrary; and maternal grandmother, Thelma Faye Frazier. He is survived by his loving mother, Peggy Sue Phillips; sister, Brittany Phillips; maternal grandparents, Jimmy & wife, Lois Calhoun; three aunts, Sandra Farra, Barbara Sulfridge and Chasidy Coleman; uncle, Jamie Calhoun; niece, Chrislyn Neil; special cousin, Amanda Monk; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday (October 15, 2015) at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN) at 5 pm.
