Mr. Robert Lee Busick

Robert Lee Busick, 67, received his wings on Thursday (June 25, 2015) with his family by his side, after an extended illness. Bobby will be remembered for his kind heart, always giving, and helping others. He enjoyed being everyones "handy man" and spending time with his family and friends. He worked as a truck driver for 36 years until his retirement. Bobby was of the Baptist faith. His spiritual journey has served as an inspiration to others. He was preceded in death by his father Jim & wife Gladys Busick; mother, Mary Busick; and infant daughter, Deborah Busick. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Busick; two daughters, Tina Busick & Mr. Kelly Clark, and Christy & Ronnie Stout; two sons, Anthony & Melissa Busick, and Travis & Angie Busick; four grandchildren; Summer White, Taylor White, Brayden Stout, and Blaiklee Stout; three brothers; two sisters; special cousin, Robin & Peggy Matheny; and life-long friend, Robert Graham. The family will greet friends and share memories on Monday (June 29, 2015) from 5 to 7 pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Brother Jessie Swanner officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday (June 30, 2015) at Light Cemetery (Cemetary Road Kingsport) at 11am. Those wishing to go in procession are asked to meet at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home by 10:15 am. Pallbearers will be Travis Busick, Ronnie Stout, Randall Danna, Kelly Clark, Mark Elliot, and Darryl Elliot. Honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Stout and Robin Matheny. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bristol Hospice House for all of their kindness, love, and support during this difficult time.
