Mr. Hubert Eugene Hickman

Mr. Hubert Eugene Hickman, loving father and husband, 63, went to be with the Lord on Sunday (October 4, 2015) at his residence with his family by his side. Hubert enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and playing softball. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Hazel Hickman; infant daughter, Elizabeth Rachel Hickman; three sisters, Della Mae Gragg, Nell Richard, and Flora Morelock; brother, Steve Hickman; and infant brother, Charles Hickman. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Donna Sue Hickman; four sons, Richard & fiance Melissa, William & wife Amy, Michael & wife Amie, and Jesse Hickman; daughter, Amy Hickman; eight grandchildren, Katelyn Maynor, Bryan Maynor, Skye Johnson, Billy Johnson, Mikie Hickman, Bryson Hickman, Candace Koontz, and Lucas Koontz; two brothers, Lee Hickman and Willie Hickman; four sisters, Shirley Gragg, Jeanette Martin, Mercia Hickman, and Joyce Ready; special niece, Penny Farmer; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Friday (October 9, 2015) at Trinity Memorial Centers Life Celebration Chapel (1221 Stewball Circle Kingsport) from 5 to 7 pm. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Mack Greer officiating. The Committal service will be held on Saturday (October 10, 2015) at Depews Chapel Cemetery (241 Hood Road, Kingsport) noon. Those wishing to attend the committal service are asked to meet at Trinity Memorial Centers at 11 am to go in procession. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice (Becky Lee and Heather Haynes) for the compassionate care they gave to Hubert during this difficult time.
