Mr. Fred Leon Gibson

Fred Leon Gibson, 60, passed away Tuesday (July 21, 2015) at his residence. Fred enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his friends, NASCAR racing, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Gibson & Betty Marshall Gibson Estep; mother and father-in-law, Everett Darnell & Ruby Darnell Kindle; two very special nieces; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his loving of wife of 23 years, Mattie Johnson Gibson; daughter, Miranda Johnson & husband Randy; three sons, Jody Kindle & wife Jennifer, Larry Gibson, and Mitchell Gibson; nine grandchildren, Randy "Poo" Johnson, Lauren Kindle, Destiny Kindle, Jarrod Gibson, Jarrett Gibson, Kefen Gibson, Collie Gibson, Isaac Gibson, and his turtle dove Shae Overbey; three step-grandchildren, Crystal Overbey, Randy Overbey, and Brandon Overbey; two sisters, Geneva & husband Sam Bishop, and Delores Jean Pearcey; two brother-in-laws; sister-in-law; special friend, Brenda Johnson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. They family will receive friends on Saturday (July 25, 2015) from 6 to 7 pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow Pastor Rex McMurray officiating.
