Mr. Calvin Wayne Wallen, Jr.

Calvin Wayne Wallen, Jr., 53, passed away on Wednesday (February 25, 2015). He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and living life to the fullest. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Wallen. He is survived by his father, Calvin Wayne Wallen, Sr. of Mt. Holly, NC.; sister, Desirae Wallen, of Kingsport; brother, Michael "Peanut" Wallen, of Mt. Holly, NC.; two nieces, Jennifer and Ashley Wallen; nephew, Michael Anthony; special friends, Marvin Sampson and Randy; a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Poplar Grove Primitive Baptist Church (744 Poplar Grove Rd. Kingsport) on Saturday (March 7, 2015) from 1 until 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Oscar Irwin officiating.
