Misty Leeann Bowser

On December 3, 2023, Misty Bowser passed away at the age of 49, after a brief battle with cancer.

Misty was the biological mother of four children, Allen Dean, Amber Johnson, Dustin Dean and Michael Fields. However, many people considered Misty their surrogate mother. Misty loved her kids and her four beautiful grandchildren, Payton Dean, Alex Graham, Aubrey Dean and Emma Johnson. She was always talking about how proud she was of them.

Misty is survived by her sister Robin Johnson whom she considered as a mother, and several nephews, Brandon Richardson, Austin Condry, and Hunter Wilcox and a beautiful niece, Tayler Johnson whom she loved dearly.

She was greeted in heaven by many friends and family members including her father and mother, Ronald and Judy Bowser; her sister, Marcy Wilcox; the love of her life, David Windstead. She was a light in this dark world and will truly be missed by so many.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN. Pastor Baker will be officiating a memorial service at 3 PM.
