Miles Michael Coates

Miles "Mike" Michael Coates, 67, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Mike was a graduate of Sullivan West High School, after which he went on to serve his country for nearly 18 years as a member of the United States Army.

He is preceded by; his mother, Wanda Pauline Coates; and his father, Howard Neil Coates.

Mike is survived by; his children, Misty Jean Fitzhugh, Victoria Scott, Joshua Coates, and John Coates; two grandchildren; his sister, Rebecca Bowerman; and numerous friends.

Service at Mountain Home National Cemetery will be November 17, 2023 at 1 p.m. with honors present.
