Mildred Louise Duncan

Mildred Louise Duncan, 65, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Millie was born in Elizabethton, TN and lived a majority of her life in Jonesborough, TN. She was a hard worker and took pride in being the best at whatever her occupation was at the time. She worked in factories, as a caregiver, and in her own words - she could run a kitchen with her eyes closed.

Millie was compassionate and silly. She had more "kids" who called her mom than she could count. She accepted them all with open arms and an open door. She loved people deeply, and went out of her way to be of service to others.

She was a loving mother and proud grandmother. She was bold and did not give up easily. She will be loved and missed by all those whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark L. Duncan; her mother, Mildred E. Greene; her sisters, Teresa Lowe, Vickie Dixon, and Ava Lones; her daughter, April Dawn McKee; and her father-in-law, James Leon Duncan.

Those left to cherish Millie's memory are her daughter, Salena Earlean Duncan (Christian Wiggins); her son, Jarrett McKee; her stepdaughter, Beth Duncan (Candice Brown); her stepson, James Duncan; her grandsons, Jameson Duncan, Mark Wiggins, Jayden McKee, and Collin McKee; special niece, Crystal Dixon; special nephew, Michael Elliott; dear friend, Teresa Lambert; mother-in-law, Alice Duncan; and many more special friends and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at Bloomingdale Baptist Church Activity Center, 3220 Bloomingdale Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.
