Michael Glen Sargent

Michael Glen Sargent, 61, of Johnson City, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Augusta, Georgia but has been a resident of this area all his life. He was a retired truck driver and was of the baptist faith. Michael loved to hunt, fish, camp and he had a passion for music, but his love for his family stood stronger than anything. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eulas and Jessie Sargent; brother, Jr. Sargent; and nephews Buck and Dave. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Wanda Sargent; sons, Jason Sargent and wife, Lynnette (West Union, Iowa), Joshua Sargent and Joesph Sargent (both of TN); brothers, William Jolly and Joseph Sargent (both of TN); sisters, Ernestine Francis Johnson (Mississippi) and Eva Ginnings (TN); grandchildren, Creedence, Haven, Jerome, Jeriah, Ashton and Destiny; and several nieces and nephews.
