Michael Ray Gibson gained his wings and entered the gates of heaven on 8/2/2024 after an extended illness.
Michael loved hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, and motocross racing. There was no greater love in this world than what he had for his four daughters. He was a man who worked long hours to ensure his family had what they needed and wanted. Not once did they do without. He was a certified electrician, and many people called him to fix anything broken because there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He worked in Afghanistan for 3 years as a contractor for KBR and loved being able to serve his country.
He was preceded in death by his father Virgil Ray Gibson and his Mother Martha Sue Gibson.
He left behind many loved ones including his 4 daughters; Monica Gibson, Christy Gibson, Monika Pounders, and Ashley Gibson. Sisters; Donna Nelson and Cheryl Robinette. 9 grandchildren; Jasmine Sensabaugh, Lilly Robinette, Alyssa and Aubree Garrett, Alli Jo, Newt, Anderson, Willow Pounders, and Piper Gibson. Nieces; Carla Carland and Emily Robinette. Nephew; Paul Carland. Along with several great-nieces and a great-nephew. Special Family Friend; Paula Sucholbiak. Special Neighbors; Andy Byrd and Sylvia Cole.
Everyone knew and loved him dearly. He was deeply loved and will be missed by more people than he could ever imagined.
The Celebration of Life will be held August 10th from 4 pm-7 pm at Ridgeview Baptist Church (234 Hurd Road, Church Hill, TN 37642).
