Michael Joseph Fleenor

Michael Joseph Fleenor, 59, of Bristol, VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Known for his kind heart, devotion to family, and unwavering friendship, Michael left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Michael was the beloved husband and soulmate of Jackie D. Vinson, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship. He was a proud father to Jonathan Cody Allen Vinson and a doting grandfather to Odyssey Willis and Lil Cody Willis.

Michael is survived by his brothers-in-law Bruce Lee Barr and Tony Allen Barr, his sister-in-law JoAnna Barr, and his niece Brook Blaylock Smith. He is also remembered by his many great-nieces and nephews, including Tyra Harvey, Alisa Smith, and Chandler Smith.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Mamie Pearl Fleenor and Bill Fleenor, and his brother, Robert "Benny" Fleenor. He is survived by his sister Vickey (Fleenor) Ball of Oklahoma City.

Michael's life was enriched by his many friends, including Jennifer Morgan and Billy Pringle, who stood by him through all of life's joys and challenges.

Services will be private to honor Michael's wishes.
