Melissa Gail Leonard

Melissa G. Leonard "Missi" passed away at home Saturday, April 20, 2024.

She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was a graduate of Powell Valley High School in 1993. She loved the outdoors, and her music, and her little dog, Oogley. He was so special to her. She lived all her life in Big Stone Gap.

Missi was preceded in death by her father and mother, David and Polly Fox of Big Stone Gap.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 23 years, Christopher "Chris" Leonard; her daughter, Laken Leonard; her brother, David Fox Jr. of Kentucky; her sister, Tammy (Brad) Hubbard of Appalachia; several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

She had a lot of very special friends, "Leisa and Johnny Horne" and also "Karen Hamilton".

A celebration of life will be at a later time.
