Melissa Chapman

Melissa Gail Chapman, 46, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Melissa was the firstborn of 4 children in Bristol, TN. Her nickname was Big Red, her siblings called her Wed, and her nieces and nephews called her Lissa. Melissa was an excellent and good-hearted person that loved big. Her personality was being the center of attention, loud, and sarcastic but unique. She had many friends and was very grateful to lend a helping hand. Her relationship with her mother was extraordinary, and they shared many memories. Melissa loved to spend time with her mother and drink iced coffee. She didn’t stop with just her family. She had an exceptional cat Kika that she loved dearly. Melissa didn’t like to get rid of things and kept it all but was very artistic and had a lot of beautiful jewelry.

She was preceded by her father, Robert Chapman.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother and stepfather, Brenda (Tony) Reynolds; sisters, Bobbie (CJ) Rosenbalm and Cheyloa (Travis) Shaffer; bother, Joshua Chapman; several nieces and nephews; many cousins
