Melinda Kay Brown, 66, passed away with her family by her side.
She was married to Clayton D. Knowles and they had two sons. She was a nurse for 26 years at Coffey County Hospital. She enjoyed gardening ,fishing, and camping with her children and grandchildren. She believed in faith and was baptized at an early age.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Charles E. Brown father, Mary E. Blackwell mother, grandparents and brother Harley Keith Brown.
Survived by her sons Dennis K.Knowles and Daniel K. Knowles, grandchildren Matthew Knowles, Jamison Knowles and Carly peach. Great grand children Wesley Knowles and Kayden Knowles. Brothers; Kenneth Brown, Charles Brown and Bryan Brown
Melinda had 2 favorite songs. Think of her anytime you hear them. Silverwings by Merle Haggard and I just called to say hello by Stevie wonder.
Melinda K. Was cremated and a memorial will be set at a later date.
