Mary Frances Dunn

Mary Frances Dunn of Kingsport, TN peacefully went home to be with the Lord on her 82nd birthday, December 6, 2019 with her family by her side. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ernest R. Dunn; daughters, Debra Dunn, Diana Dunn, Marie Davis, and son Ernest "Danny" Dunn. Frances is survived by her sons, Dennis wife Jean Dunn, Michael wife Lorraine Dunn, Darrell wife Karin Dunn, Randall wife Julia Dunn; daughters, Durella Ward, Damaar husband Donnie Hunley; brothers, Herbert and Howard Smith; one sister, Helen Roberts; Frances loved dearly and was blessed to have 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; as well as many special friends who knew her as "Mammaw or Granny Dunn"; All were warmly welcomed into her home. Family friends will gather at Trinity Memorial Center in Kingsport from 5-7 pm on Sunday Dec. 8. Funeral will be held on Monday Dec. 9 at 10 am at Mt. Zion Church (Dunbar St. Kingsport) with Rev. Lester Turner officiating. Graveside will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hunley, Matthew Hunley, Joshua Dunn, Jesse Puckett, Mark Miller, and Preston Short. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) will be serving the family.
