Mary Belle Brumitt

Psalms 23:4

Mary Belle Grindstaff Brumitt, 84, of Elizabethton, Tn went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday January 31st, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center.

She was born January 10th, 1942 in Carter County, Tn to the late Frank and Polly Ellison Grindstaff.

Mary worked at Tarkett for many years and later retired from there. She was a very strong willed person, she enjoyed working in her flowers and garden while she was able. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She was of the baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Brumitt (in 1999); brothers, Clarance, Luther, Lawrence, William (Bill), David Grindstaff; and one sister, Barbara Allen.

Those left to cherish Mary's memory are her daughter Lisa Adams and son-in-law Leroy, her only grandson Cody Adams who she loved very much. And one son Michael Brumitt. She has several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Mary's wishes were to be cremated. No service is planned.

The family would like to thank the doctor's and nurse's and many others at the JCMCH 2700 ICU for their amazing care and support.
