Margaret Dorleen Pendleton Sneed

Margaret Dorleen Pendleton Sneed 82, went to be with the Lord on Friday July 18, 2014 at the Church Hill Health Care and Rehab facility in Churchill TN. She was born on May 15, 1932 the daughter of the late I.A. and Norma Pendleton, She was born in Gate City Virginia but spent the majority of her life in Kingsport TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Sneed, her sisters; Evelyn Adams, Mildred Templeton, and Berniece Solomon, brothers; James Pendleton and Curt Pendleton. She is survived by her children; Bobby Sneed of Kingsport TN, daughter; Leslie Sneed Larkins of Church Hill TN, three sisters Elizabeth Bellamy of Kingsport, Bennie Bishop of Kingsport TN, and Claudia Byrd of Kingsport TN, brothers; Eugene and wife Betty Pendleton, Olin and wife Eula Pendleton, Rayford and wife Martha Pendleton; several nieces and nephews and a host of other close relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for the visitation on Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m for the visitation at Trinity Memorial Centers. The funeral service will be conducted following the visitation in the funeral homes chapel with the Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. The family will also receive friends at the home of Bennie Bishop (230 Sherry St. in Kingsport TN). The committal service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am. in the Ponderosa cemetery; Speers Ferry Community of Scott County Virginia.
