Madonna Joy Shortt- Dalbey

Madonna Joy Shortt- Dalbey, 79, of Blountville, TN, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017. Madonna was born in Muncie, Indiana. She grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Lake View High School. In the 90's she moved to the Tri-Cities area. Her passion was raising her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a kind soul who embodied the word LOVE. Always caring for others first before herself. She never took the spotlight, she truly was selfless. Madonna will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Russell Shortt; brother, Bill Trader. She is survived by her husband of seven years, Robert Dalbey; sons, Lee Shortt, Russell Shortt, and Jeff Shortt; grandchildren, Sarah, Ben, Mark, Jessica, Kristin, Isaac, Madison, Kayli, Jerrick, and Madeline; and many great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Friday November 3rd at Lion of Judah Messianic Fellowship (1128 New Hampshire Ave, Bristol, VA) Rabbi Joe Bell will be officiating. A dinner will follow, those attending are welcomed to bring a dish. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
