Lucille Elizabeth Baldwin of Columbia, Maryland passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 from complications related to congestive heart failure.
Lucy was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and she grew up in Frenchtown, New Jersey. She attended and graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While attending Drexel she met her lifelong husband Gary D. Baldwin. They were married for 62 years when Gary preceded her in death on January 17, 2021. Lucy and Gary had two daughters Katherine and Lora.
Lucy is survived by; her daughters, Katherine Schenk of Mountainair, New Mexico, Lora Lay of Kingsport, Tennessee; son-in-laws Robert (Tony) Schenk and David Lay; four grandchildren, Michael and Nathaniel Lay, Kristine and Thomas Schenk; as well as four great-grandchildren, Logan Lay, Vanna and Emery Lay and Keira Lay; and her sister Dottie Schultz
Lucy's daughters will be holding a private memorial service to be announced later in the year.
