Lola Alley Maness

Lola Alley Maness, age 90, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2014 at Indian Path Medical Center. Aunt Lola was born in Scott County, VA. She retired after many years in the spinning department of J.P. Stevens Co., and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Rosa Alley; her husband, Rhea Maness; sister, Blanche Martin; twin brother, Emerson Alley; and a nephew. Surviving are her beloved son, Larry Maness of Kingsport; several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. A very special thanks to Dr. Steven I Kele. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am Monday, June 16, 2014 at East Lawn Cemetery in the Garden of Faith with Legendary Alvin Goins providing the eulogy and a song.. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery no later than 10:45 and a staff member of Trinity Memorial will be at the entrance to provide directions to the gravesite.
