Lois Juanita Bledsoe, 71, of Kingsport, TN, went home peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Lois, or better known as "Mamma Lo", lived in Duffield, VA for most of her life. She was a nurse for Ridgecrest Manor for many years. She loved her grandchildren and going to the Duffield auction. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Don and Bessie Woodward; and brothers, Donnie Woodward and Timothy Woodward. She is survived by her daughter, Beth and husband, Jon Hurley; son, Lowell Bledsoe; grandchildren, Elissa Hurley, James, Emily and Morgyn Bledsoe and Caitlin Emond; sisters, Linda Quesenberry, Holly Robbins and Kathy Crabtree; brother, Butch Woodward; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Model City Event Center (201 East Center Street, Kingsport, TN) on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6 to 9 PM. Please join us and share stories, reminisce and have a Dr. Pepper. Everyone that knew my mom, knew how caring and fun loving she was. The celebration of her life is going to be as unique as she is. Plan to come and eat, and share sweet memories. Share stories of how silly she was, speak of how she touched your life, about her kindness. My mommy was the best!
