Lisa Faye Guy Christian, age 46, of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 5th, 2019. Lisa was born in Kingsport in 1972 and she attended Sullivan North High School. She was full of life and loved with her whole heart. Lisa was kind, generous and was a loving soul and made many friends and she never met a stranger. Lisa's dad was an Evangelist and that is where she found her love for Gospel music and her love of Christ. Lisa was a member of Calvary Worship Center. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son Brandon, her pride and joy. Lisa loved cutting up with her sisters and brother as well. Lisa enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and dolphin figurines. Also she liked playing on her laptop and watching television which among her favorites were Little House on the Prairie, Smallville, and When Calls the Heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph (Larry) and Lois Guy; sister, Jessica Allison Guy. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Brandon Derrick and fiance Shawna Sturgill and their son Braedyn; brother, Michael Guy; sisters, Hope Reynolds and husband Tim, Linda Necessary and husband Chris, Rebecca Fields and fiance Julie Phillips; nephews, Hunter Fields, Michael Guy, Quentin Fields, Christopher Necessary, Logan Necessary; nieces, Amanda Vanatta, Sarah Guy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family of Lisa Christian will receive friends on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 1:00 pm until 3:00pm at Calvary Worship Center, 500 Lucy Road, Kingsport, TN. 37660. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm at the church with Pastor Larry Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in Depew's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter Fields, Michael Guy, Clarence (Buck) Fields, Roger Bryant, Quentin Fields, and Andrew Henry.
