Lisa Dawn Meade

Lisa Dawn Meade, 47, of Bristol, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2023 surrounded by family.

Lisa was born in Wise, Virginia September 19th, 1976. She grew up in Dryden, Virginia with her mother Peggy Milam and siblings. Lisa was a graduate of Lee High School and a member of the class of 1994. She was a loving sister, mother, aunt, and friend. Lisa loved the outdoors and being in nature. She never met a stranger, and had a heart of gold. Lisa would give the shirt off her back, knowing she didn't have it to give. She will be extremely missed by anyone that had the opportunity to know her.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Winston Meade; her mother, Peggy Milam; her brother, Chris Milam; her niece, Gail Turner.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tamra Brewer and Michael Hamilton; her brother, Greg Milam; her sisters, Brenda Milam and Cathy Milam; her sister, best friend, and protector Tammy Holt; several nieces and nephews, especially Snow, Abigail, and Stephen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Centers. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Zak Holt.

The family would like to thank the kind nurses and doctors in the Critical Care Unit at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia for all they did for Lisa and her loved ones.
