Lindsay Blakley

November 03, 1952 - September 10, 2021

Lindsay Parham Blakley of Sullivan Gardens passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021.

Lindsay was a wonderful mother, grand-mother, and friend who loved with everything she had, but none more than her grand-babies who were the treasures of her life. She had a loving and giving heart and would help anyone who asked. Lindsay had another love in her life, the craft store, she never met one she didn’t like. She always had an idea and was always making something hand-made for those she loved “Just Because”.

Lindsay is preceded in death by parents, Dr. Henry and Colleen Raymaker; infant daughter, Christine Elizabeth Blakley; brother, Ralph “Pim” Parham; and sister, Pat Anderson.  Lindsay is survived by son, Tony Blakley and wife Jennifer; daughter, Kelly Murmann and husband John “Mac”; her treasures, Hunter Blakley and wife Casey, Emma Blakley, and Tyler Blakley; bonus treasures, Emaleigh Sams, and Maggie Murmann; several nieces and nephews, many loving cousins, and too many friends to count.

Lindsay’s family and friends will gather at Port City Church on Saturday October 2, 2021 from 11 am to 12 pm to celebrate her life and love of God.  Lindsay always made sure no one went hungry and that you had a full tummy so in lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Port City Church Food Pantry, 2601 E. Center Street, Kingsport, TN 37663 or online at iamportcity.com.

Lindsay’s family would like to extend their gratitude to all the wonderful doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who have helped her throughout her medical journey. Her children also like to say thank you to Tina and the rest of the employees of Family Pharmacy who treated Lindsay with love, kindness, and like a member of their own family.

The family understands the limitations of travel and gatherings. For those who are unable to attend due to distance or health reasons, please join us virtually to celebrate Lindsay’s life at Facebook.com/iamPortCity.

Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Blakely family.
