Linda Banks Lucas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Banks Lucas, born on September 24th, 1943, and passed away on March 28th, 2025, at the age of 81.

Linda is survived by her 2 children, Beth Lucas Callahan and her husband, Keith; and Jon Lucas and his wife, Melinda, whom Linda loved as a daughter; her three grandchildren, Kenzie Callahan, Aiden Lucas and Mason Lucas; a great-grandchild Charleston Randall; her brothers, Donald Banks and his wife Midge, Pat Banks and his wife Marilyn, John Banks and his wife Barbara, and Brian Banks; her two sisters, Verna Rayburn and Carol Caudill; her nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Minnie Vae Banks; her husband, Billy Don Lucas; a son, Jeffery Allen Lucas; a grandchild, Kati Callahan Randall; and a sister, Virginia Rich.

Linda journeyed through life with unwavering determination and a spirit of kindness and love. What she cherished most in life was her family and friends.

Per Linda's specific wishes and instructions, no services will be held. Instead, the family would love to read any memories or thoughts of love and view any unique pictures you may have by leaving them a message below.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name can be made to Little Cowan Primitive Baptist Church.
