Linda Gail Johnson

Linda Gail Johnson, 78, of Kingsport, TN, was called home on Monday, August 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Beulah Gibson; her beloved husband, Ben Johnson; her brother, Bill Gibson; and her sister, Joyce Miller.

Linda leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sons, Mike Harman and his wife, Janet, and Chris Harman and his wife, Tammie; her daughter, Melissa Selvage, and her husband, Eddie; her brothers, Robert Gibson and George Gibson; her grandchildren, Jessica Stranger, Stephanie Mathis, Elijah Lawson, and Joseph Lawson; her stepchildren, Ben Johnson, Jr., Traci Cyphers, and Janie Wheelock; and her best friend, Donna Turnage.

Linda was a devoted member of Trinity Covenant Brethren Church in Blountville, Tennessee. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, making her famous peanut butter fudge, sewing, and playing games-especially bingo.

At this time, there will be no services held.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Crown Cypress and offers a special thank you to the hospice and critical care unit at Holston Valley Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Bridge in Blountville, Tennessee or Petworks in Kingsport, Tennessee.
