Leona Wynn Fisher, 57, a beloved resident of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy as a cherished daughter, devoted mother, exceptional grandmother, beloved sister, admired aunt, trusted friend, inspirational role model, and unwavering support for all.
Leona's life was defined by her selflessness and generosity. She devoted herself to aiding others without seeking anything in return, embodying strength of spirit that uplifted those around her. To many, she was a real-life superhero, always ready to lend an ear and offer acceptance, regardless of circumstance. Her capacity for forgiveness and encouragement inspired her loved ones to strive for better futures.
As a loving wife, Leona shared a profound bond with her husband, Steven, characterized by boundless patience and kindness. Their union brought newfound purpose and a wealth of cherished memories, forever etched in the hearts of those touched by their love.
Though Leona has departed, her spirit lives on in the lessons she imparted, the laughter she shared, the stories she told, and the indelible mark she left on all she encountered.
She is preceded in death by Marvin Odean Phillips, Lauren Lynn Phillips, Howard Lee Fisher III, and Howard Lee Fisher IV.
Leona is survived by her dear ones: Jimmie Lee Phillips, Steven Hodge, Vickie Lynn Lovett, Dina Kay Eversole, Jimmie Dianna Boyster, and Scott and Judy Haynes, who will forever cherish her memory.
