Leo Joseph Kearns

Leo Joseph Kearns, 72, of Blountville, TN, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024.

Leo was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to several different states to fish different lakes. He loved his time on the water. Leo was a United States Marine Corp Veteran who received cared at Mountain Home VA in Johnson City, Tennessee. He wanted to be home, so Smoky Mountain Hospice, Village Caregiving, and significant other, Sharon, cared for him. He was comfortable and passed in his sleep. Leo was a gift from God to Sharon Roe, his long time partner.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Kearns and Pauline Kearns; and his brother, John Kearns.

Leo leaves behind his longtime partner, Sharon Roe; his son, Aaron Kearns and his mother Penny; his granddaughter, Parker Kearns; his sisters, Diane and Paula; and many friends, fishing buddies (Vince and Greg), extended family, and neighbors.

An outdoor Celebration of Life is being planned for August of 2024.
