Larry Page

May 3, 1947 — February 2, 2024

Larry Page, 76, of Weber City, VA, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Larry spent his childhood in Weber City and the Kingsport area. He enlisted in the United States Army out of high school, where he served his country and saw the world. He would continue to travel after his time in the military, seeing most of the United States, Europe, and many other countries. Larry held many positions in his working life, working at PET dairy, the TVA, and many self employment ventures. He was a well loved resident of the Community Life Center at James H. Quillen Va Medical Center, where he laughed, played bingo, made small talk with strangers, and made excuses to visit the ladies at the nurses station. Larry made a point to tell his family that he loved them every time they arrived and left each visit. He enjoyed his treats from McDonald's. Larry was an amazing father, a loving grandfather, and a playful spirit. He will be missed dearly by everyone that loved him.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Irma Page; his grandfather, Pierce Short; and his parents, Joseph Page and Minnie Bell Short.

He is survived by his son, Larry Wayne Page; his daughters, Kristie Frazier, Cynthia Ramey, and Sherry Woods; his grandchildren, Blake Page and Madylyn Frazier; his brother Barry Page; and his nieces, Jody Eilene Page, Jennifer Barrisa Ryan, and Jeanette Michelle Pinkerman.

Interment will take place at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee on Monday, February 12th, 2024 at 2 pm. Procession will depart from Trinity Memorial Centers at 1:00 pm to ensure timely arrival.

The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to the wonderful staff and residents of the James H Quillen VA Medical Center . Carly, Karen, Julie, and the doctors that cared for Larry provided support and the confidence that the family needed knowing that he was in their care.

Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
